A full day out for the whole family
Go down the mine, tour the museum, walk the slag heap: a programme for the whole family, from 3.5 hours to a full day.
Three visits, one experience
For individuals and families (fewer than 15 people), the programme includes the guided tour of the mine, a self-guided visit of the permanent exhibition and the discovery of the slag heap biotope.
Allow about 3.5 hours for the whole programme. The mine can be visited from a height of one metre.
More than a visit
The site also has a playground, a mini-golf course, a relaxation park and a shop.
Fun activity courses
Activity courses to discover the natural and heritage treasures of Blegny-Mine while having fun.
Crafts, nature activities and games are on the programme for plenty of fun. The courses are for children aged 5 to 7 and 8 to 11.
Themed weeks
Each summer, several themed weeks are offered. In 2026: Harry Mineur, Min’lanta on the coal island, Star académine (theatre, music, dance), Dinofossiles and The time explorers.
A tax certificate (281.86) is provided for the childcare tax reduction.

Crafts and games on the theme of the mine, to do at home.
A way to keep busy while having fun! The worksheets include:
